One of the most beautiful places for its natural beauty. It was humbling to see the workers (maids,waiters,reps) are some of the happiest people making the most of what they have.

Behind the pretty palms, bright blue sea and golden sand; the life outside is real. The country sees gun violence, poverty and has a low standard of living. I was informed the wages locals received 25 years ago still stands to this day. They struggle, yet they are some of the happiest people I’ve ever seen. During my stay, we were unable to drink fresh water from the tap - something we naturally all do without a single thought everyday. Don’t take these simple things for granted - Be grateful for what you have.💭

They’re not wrong when they say some of the less fortunate countries have some of the happiest people.♥️
